Q: Do you have a bakery location where customers can pick up baked goods?

A: Sugarsweet is presently an online bakery only that offers a delivery service throughtout the Bay Area 7 days a week. As our client base expands we hope to secure a business location where customers can come to purchase ready-made cakes and pastries.

 Q: How much notice is required to place a cake order?

A: The earlier the better. I  require at least 7 days for custom-themed or multiple tiered designed cakes. At least 48hrs for standard designed (no fondant) cake orders. An additional charge of $15-$45 will apply to rush orders (next day or large order within a day or two from order date), depending on the size and complexity of order.

 Q: How much notice is required to place a baked goods order?

A: Tarts and cookies fall under the baked goods category.  In other words, anything except cake. Again…I would appreciate as much advance notice as possible. I do require a minimum of 48-72hrs for any baked goods item (greater than 1 dozen). For custom or themed orders, we request a minimum of 5-7 days. An additional charge of $15-$45 will apply to large volume (over 1 dozen) rush orders (next day or large order within a day or two from order date).  Next day orders are accepted with no extra charge if I am not fully booked and if the order is a minimum of 1 dozen,  depending on the size and complexity of order.

 Q: Do you offer custom-themed and custom-shaped cakes?

A: Yes…I can do just about anything but it depends on the complexity of the design.  Most ideas and cakes are merely a case of research. I have rarely had to turn down a request for a custom-themed cake but I will accept or reject a custom order on a case-by-case basis. I want to always be sure that if I accept an order, I am confident in producing a cake that our customer will be happy with. If you’s like a particular design or color scheme in mind, please let me know and I’ll do my best to accomidate.

Q: Where do you deliver?

A:  Depending on location. Normally, within 20mls from Oakland (including San Francisco).

Q: What are your delivery rates?

A: Depending on the complexity and amount of dessert product scheduled for delivery, delivery fees range from $10-$25 for deliveries within 20mls from Oakland (including San Francisco).

Q: Do you deliver outside of the Oakland/San Francisco Area?

A: Yes, However an extra charge will be added to cities beyond 20mls or pick up of desserts can be arranged as well w/ no charge. 

Q: Will you ship outside the state of California?

A: Yes, (Cookies & Bars only!)
