2. Every year I go to California to see my family for Christmas and we’ve taken to ordering a desert from Sugarsweet…oh my Goodness! Goodness being the operative word. we ordered a strawberry tart & 10 chocolate tarts the first 2yrs, they just blew us away. Sugarsweet is my definition of delicious! We will be ordering from them again this Christmas, and next Christmas and the Christmas after that and the one after that. and we’ll be ordering our wedding cake from them too.

When I first had the priviledge of tasting David’s Sugarsweet Pastries, I was in Pastry Heaven! His pastries are so beautiful, they catch your eye immediately, from the cakes to the tarts. His chocolate cake w/ white frosting was absolutely wonderful.  The cake was soooooooooo wonderfully moist the frosting was “delicious”, absolutely luscious.  There was also the Chocolate Tart – so creamy, w/berries or without.  The cookies are great too.  The mini cupcakes were delicious and perfect to pop right into your mouth! This is only the beginning of my venture with Sugarsweet Pastries,I plan to be a long time fan!

I have a big sweet tooth and a particularly picky palate. I first tried SUGARSWEET’s magic when David made a wheat-free cake for my big boss, who is allergic to gluten. Never did I think that such a concoction would be so terrific! Davids wonderful cakes spark memories of childhood, and touch areas of the palate that remained unawakened since i was a a small boy.  You know how some foods spark memories and take you places, Sugersweet pastries are a round trip to delight coming full circle with remarkable presentation.  Not to try these pieces of heaven would be to rob yourself of that glimpse into your youth.
